Who else has Daniel Craig embodied? The actor's filmography is diverse, just like the wardrobe of each of his three characters. When looking for inspiration, it is worth paying attention not only to his "professional" styles, but also to his private ones. How old is Daniel Craig? Age for a special agent is just a number. At 53, the actor has a distinctive style - developed over the years, which has helped him in his roles, especially the character of Mikael Blomkvist from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Casino Royale – a classy tuxedo

It's hard to imagine Bond with Daniel Craig without at least one scene in a tuxedo. This is probably the most characteristic "work outfit" of Bond. Craig, in this version, breaks women's hearts and arouses men's jealousy. A black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie will best suit black tie events - for lavish balls, for example, New Year's Eve and charity, official premieres, or banquets. However, it is still a style of a lower degree of formality than White Tie. We rarely wear a tuxedo with a white bow tie, for example, for our own wedding or another exceptionally important ceremony.

Agent on vacation - Bond's summer suit

A real spy works even on vacation, incognito. Shorts and flip-flops off the beach will be rather inappropriate, but there are some ways to maintain elegance in the summer hours, at summer garden parties. What does Bond's summer wardrobe look like? Craig chooses light suits made of thicker, breathable linen, whose weave nevertheless "breathes" and lets air through. Such suits often have a lining only on the back.

In less formal circumstances, you can take off the jacket and roll up the sleeves of the shirt (which should, however, have mandatory long sleeves). A beige suit will harmoniously combine with a light blue shirt, a brown, wide tie with a thick knot, and suede shoes or moccasins.

British gentleman - Detective Blanc

Bond with Daniel Craig is not the only memorable role of this actor. In the film Knives Out with Craig, Daniel plays the role of the somewhat eccentric, pretending to be lazy, but actually keen detective Benoit Blanc. The detective, like Sherlock Holmes, values tradition and high quality, and at the same time comfort.

Blanc wears club type jackets made of wool or tweed with elbow patches sewn on, and patterned ties with a thick knot, which give the whole an individual charm. In the jacket pocket, there is always a neatly folded pocket square in a pattern matching the tie.

The detective often wears trousers from a different set to the jacket, but the whole still looks carefully worked out. He occasionally surprises everyone not only with his deduction, but also with a good suit. In the crime comedy Knives Out, he also wears an exceptionally original, olive green suit, which few dare to wear these days. Fans of Craig's version, who are close to the male style of the 1930s and 40s, will love this.

Ambitious journalist - Mikael Blomkvist

It is rarely said about busy journalists that they have a good style by the way. The hallmark of the somewhat forgotten Blomkvist is a thick, woolen sweater, chinos or jeans, and glasses in round frames, which together create the image of an intellectual. This is an extremely minimalist, but very expressive styling - it is complemented by a piercing, yet harsh look of Craig's blue eyes.

In a more formal version, for example for a meeting in the editorial office, Mikael exchanges his sweater for a perfectly tailored, three-piece suit made of gray, mélange wool with a vest and loosely tied tie. The loosened knot and glasses remove the formal character of the styling. Additionally, after taking off the jacket, replacing the trousers with chinos and rolling up the shirt sleeves, such a set can successfully be considered a smart-casual proposition.

Regardless of which role you prefer Craig in, Daniel remains an archetype of male elegance as Bond, Blomkvist or Blanc. The actor looks impeccable in every situation, and his tailor-made suits have already become a classic of men's fashion and you can safely be inspired by them when buying your own.
